Tracking Pixels Explained
A tracking pixel or tag is browser-side code that records an event such as a pageview, lead or purchase and sends data to a measurement destination.

The core idea
Pixels are easy to deploy but can be affected by consent choices, browser restrictions, blockers, network failures and page implementation errors.
What matters in practice
Validate firing conditions, event values and duplicate prevention with test transactions.
Decision rule
For critical conversions, browser events may be complemented by server-side delivery.
Tracking principle: Define the business outcome first, then choose the measurement method and software. A sophisticated dashboard cannot repair unclear event definitions or inconsistent campaign naming.
