Bot Traffic & Click Fraud: Detection for Advertisers

Monitor repeated clicks, impossible user-agent patterns, abnormal geography, datacenter traffic and conversion-quality differences. Use multiple signals rather than one rigid rule.
What matters in practice
Blocking should be conservative because false positives can exclude legitimate users.

Tracking principle: Define the business outcome first, then choose the measurement method and software. A sophisticated dashboard cannot repair unclear event definitions or inconsistent campaign naming.
